Policies & Guidelines
🚫 April 15th to October 15th is considered the (Summer Season) However, if temperatures drop
under 70 degrees outside of these dates we will consider it under Winter season.
October 16th to April 14th is considered the (Winter Season). However, if temperatures exceed a
minimum of 70 degrees outside of these dates on the day of your show/event we will consider it
under Summer season.
Indoor shows require temperatures of 70-85 degrees to safely perform our show/event. If
temperatures are too low or two high, this could send the animals into shock and cause stress and
illness that could be fatal to the animals.
Outdoor shows/events exceeding 85 degrees should be done indoors. If your show/event must be
outdoors, we require an area that is shaded from the sun. Please understand that inside
their carrier tubs it is at least 5 degrees warmer and will cause the animals to overheat and give
the animal heat exhaustion or stroke which can result in fatalities.
Heating materials such as heat pads, heat lamps, hand warmers etc. do not suffice doing a show
cooler than 70 degrees outside or inside as animals are presented outside of their tubs.
TEMPERATURE
🚫 These animals are socialized however they are never domesticated like your dog or cat so for
your safety do NOT touch animals unless advised and supervised by an sWo staff member.
Safety perimeter is set at 6ft from where the show/event is performed for YOUR safety.
Perimeter will be set by tape, rope, barricade, or any type of clear indicator to be a no enter zone.
We understand that children get carried away, so if your child or your guest begins coming to
close towards that barrier, please escort child or persons away as quickly as possible.
In the event an animal becomes stressed or agitated do NOT intervene.
We are trained professionals with experience and have protocols in the event of bites, scratches, whips,
defecation, or urination. If such an instant should occur to an sWo staff member during your
show/event, DONT BE A HERO. We understand that seeing someone in distress can cause you
to want to act quickly but, we do know what we need to do to ensure the safety of the animal,
ourselves, and your guests.
We encourage photography and filming but please for the sake of the animals to not feel
threatened or stressed please do not use your flash or light during performances.
We understand you may want to help us, but we promise you that we do not need it. We do not
allow holding and presenting an animal on your own no matter how much experience or training
you have. Even if you have that same type of animal. It’s not that we don’t trust you. You
are not covered by our program so please leave it to us but thank you.
SAFETY RULES
🚫 Any animal that is permitted to be touched or handled during our Meet & Greet after show.
We utilize hand sanitizer to help prevent spread of diseases when petting one animal to another and
we insist that you utilize it as well. This is to keep you and the animals safe so we can continue
bringing this entertainment back to you!
Any animal that is permitted to be touched or handled will NOT be done so until a supervised sWo staff member has authorized it and is present at ALL times.
Photos with holding animals that are granted by an sWo staff members permission
will have an sWo staff member there to monitor the situation for you and the animal’s sake.
As exciting as it is to initially see the animals moving in their travel carriers and tubs, we ask that
you please do NOT approach or touch any sWo related equipment during any time before, during
or after the show.
INTERACTIONS
🚫 For the safety and well-being of both our animals and yours, Scale World Order kindly requests that all pets be secured in a separate area while we are on the premises. This precaution is necessary to prevent stress, accidents, or potential harm that could arise from interactions between pets and the reptiles and amphibians we bring to your event. Animals are highly sensitive to unfamiliar environments and smells, and even well-behaved pets may react unpredictably around exotic wildlife. While we understand that pets are often part of the family, keeping them separate ensures a controlled, calm environment that prioritizes the safety of all animals involved. The only exception to this policy is for certified service animals, which are essential for individuals with disabilities. However, to maintain a safe space, service animals must remain behind designated perimeter indicators during the event. This minimizes any potential disruption or danger while still allowing the service animal to perform its duties. By following these guidelines, you help us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending your event, including our animal ambassadors.
PETS
🚫 Deposits made for Scale World Order events are non-refundable, ensuring your event is secured on our calendar. If you need to cancel your event, we ask for at least two weeks' notice. By doing so, you will not be held responsible for the remaining balance of the agreed-upon price. However, if a cancellation occurs within the two-week window prior to the event, the full payment will still be due on the originally scheduled date, as that time was reserved exclusively for you.
For your convenience, we allow one reschedule of your event, provided you notify us at least two weeks before the scheduled date. This rescheduled event can take place anytime within the same calendar year. No additional deposit will be required for the first reschedule.
However, all events must be booked at least one month in advance of the new date. If you need to reschedule a second time, there will be a $10 service fee added to your balance. This fee is necessary because we had reserved the original date for you and allowed one free change already. We appreciate your understanding as this policy helps us maintain flexibility for all our clients while respecting the time and effort involved in holding that slot for your event.
BOOKING & CANCELING
🚫 At Scale World Order, the safety and well-being of our staff and animals are our top priorities. That's why we have a strict termination policy in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
In the event of violence, discrimination, acts of intimidation, threats, harm, intoxication, destruction of property, harassment, bribery, or stealing, our team reserves the right to refuse or cancel a show without refund, even if it's already in progress. This decision is made to protect the safety and dignity of our staff, guests, and beloved reptiles.
In the event if anyone harms an animal in resulting in a veterinarian visit or, animals death! The signee will be 100% liable for all costs incurred due to the results.
In the event if anyone damages scale World order equipment the signee will be held 100% liable for all costs incurred due to the results.
Should such a situation arise, the show will be promptly ended, and law enforcement will be contacted immediately. We understand that these circumstances are rare, but we must take swift action to maintain a safe environment for all attendees.
While we strive to create a fun and educational atmosphere at our shows, we also prioritize safety above all else. By enforcing this termination policy, we aim to ensure that everyone can enjoy a positive and memorable experience with us.

TERMINATION
🚫 Scale World Order LLC Adoption Policy At Scale World Order, we strive to ensure that every animal is healthy and well-cared for before adoption.
By adopting an animal from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions: Health and Well-being: All animals are inspected for health and wellness before they are made available for adoption. Understand every animal that comes in as a surrender usually goes back out for adoption after it has been cleared by a vet. Animals that came in as surrenders will be listed on scale World order LLC website. We ensure they are in good condition at the time of sale.
Responsibility After Purchase: Once the adoption is complete, Scale World Order LLC is no longer responsible for the care, well-being, or health of the animal. It is the adopter’s responsibility to provide a proper environment, diet, and care. 3. Refund,
Replacement, or Credit Policy: If your adopted animal becomes sick or dies within 21 days (3 weeks) of purchase, you are eligible for one of the following options: *A refund of the adoption fee. *A store credit equal to the value of the animal. *A replacement of the same animal or one of equal value, depending on availability. Proof of Condition: Photographic evidence of the sick or deceased animal must be provided within the 21-day period. In cases of death, we may also request the return of the deceased animal for examination if possible.
Exclusions: The policy does not cover illness or death resulting from improper care, neglect, or environmental factors such as poor husbandry practices, incorrect diet, or unsuitable living conditions. By adopting an animal, you agree to these terms. Scale World Order LLC reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
ADOPTION
🚫 Scale World Order LLC Surrender Policy At Scale World Order, we understand that situations may arise where owners can no longer care for their animals. Our surrender policy is designed to ensure the best possible care for surrendered animals while protecting our organization. By surrendering an animal to us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
No Responsibility After Surrender: Once you have surrendered an animal to Scale World Order LLC, you forfeit all ownership rights and responsibilities for the animal. You will not be entitled to any updates or control over the animal’s future placement.
Surrender Conditions: All animals must be surrendered with complete and honest disclosure of their health, temperament, and any known issues. If the animal is suffering from illness or injury, you must inform us at the time of surrender.
Surrender Form Requirement: A surrender form must be completed and submitted before your request to surrender the animal will be considered. The form ensures that all relevant information regarding the animal is provided and that you acknowledge the surrender terms.
No Compensation: Scale World Order LLC does not offer financial compensation, store credit, or trade-in value for surrendered animals. The surrender process is voluntary, and no refunds or exchanges for previously purchased animals will be provided.
Future Placement: Scale World Order LLC reserves the right to make decisions regarding the animal's future care, rehabilitation, or placement. This may include adoption, transfer to another facility, or educational use. We are not obligated to inform or consult you on the animal’s future placement.
Liability Waiver: By surrendering the animal, you release Scale World Order LLC from any and all liability related to the animal’s future care, health, or disposition.
Surrender Process: To surrender an animal, you must schedule an appointment with Scale World Order LLC. At the time of surrender, you may be asked to sign a surrender form confirming that you are relinquishing all rights to the animal. By surrendering an animal to Scale World Order LLC, you agree to these terms and conditions. Scale World Order LLC reserves the right to modify this policy as needed.
